The key to Gord's smile was the symmetry and harmony Dr. Blitz achieved by making the centrals mirror images of each other. Dr. Blitz corrected the overlapping of the incisors as well. Then he brightened the darkness of the buccal corridor by making the bicuspids more prominent. This also made the narrow upper jaw seem wider; thereby creating a fuller and more aesthetically pleasing smile.
