Whitening Strips are too cold. They slow, too much fuss and irritating to your gums. It’s less expensive, but you can expect extra hassle and more discomfort. Some people have the perseverance to pull this off, but most find they don’t get the best teeth whitening results with strips.
Whitening Toothpaste does more harm than good, so it doesn’t even qualify among the 3 choices.
For a lot of people, the Custom Bleaching Trays are “just right” when it comes to whitening your teeth.
It comes down to speed, comfort and cost. The pace is reasonable and any sensitivity can easily be managed. The cost is also reasonable, since you’re doing most of the work yourself.

How Do Custom Trays Work?
The key to the Home Teeth Whitening Trays is that your custom trays fit precisely onto your teeth.
These custom trays become the “delivery vehicle” for the Teeth Whitening gel to be applied to your teeth.
The gel itself is a thick, glue-like Carbamide Peroxide solution that is held suspended against your teeth by the trays.
You get high concentration and long exposure time. That’s the secret to getting the best teeth whitening results.
If the trays are poor fitting they won’t work properly. Too much teeth whitening gel leaks out and too much saliva leaks in.

Is Teeth Whitening Gel all the same?
Be careful about which teeth whitening gel you choose. There are only a few I would ever trust to put on a patient’s teeth.
As a warning, some cheaper products have been found to actually contain acidic ingredients that will damage the surface of your teeth.
I trust the Nite-White products from Discus. They’re a company out of California that has long been a leader in the Teeth Whitening field.
The current Nite-White teeth whitening gel formula contains an effective desensitizing agent and ACP (Amorphous Calium Phosphate) to strengthen your teeth instead of weakening them.
